About Peter Tassi

The purpose of this website is to both further Peter's work in writing, while at the same time continue in his Mission Work to help the world's Poor.

Following years of work in the music business producing and releasing top-ten songs and albums, as well as music videos, Peter began to move into writing. His writings are varied and include many genres. He would return home from work as chaplain and, after his children were in bed, he would use the solace of late night hours to create his new 'world' with the use of pen and paper.

He has written, and had published, non-fiction books, as well as writing novels and novelettes. He has written such novels as: After achieving these successes, he was then challenged to write for feature films, and has written many screenplays, including "3 days" movie, which is scheduled to be released soon. Other screenplays have been 'optioned' and some are presently under consideration.

Challenged again, by the brilliant John Cope, Peter and John teamed up to write the musical theatrical play, "The Centurion," which is the story of the life of St. Paul. The musical depiction of the life of St. Paul was received by great fanfare whenever it has been performed, such as when it was presented by such talented groups as the St. Thomas More Drama Club. Peter and John are now writing the musical, 'Padre Pio'.

Peter has written with brilliant story tellers and writers, such as Tone Marrone, Jimmy Caiazo and Moe Masoudi. They have completed such screenplays and stories as:

Humanitarian and Missionary:

Peter has travelled to Haiti, Africa, Dominican Republic and Mexico to work with the missionaries for the Poor. Upon returning, thanks to the generosity of many people, churches and service groups, his community of volunteers raised substantial amounts of money for the missions. The ongoing process of this fund raising is accomplished through many ventures, including the use of documentaries written and produced by Peter.

While his committee has sent over $300,000 in this endeavour, it is a humble amount for what has to be done to conquer poverty. It is Peter's great hope that, through writing books, screenplays and theatrical plays, he is able to better serve our brothers and sisters in the Third World. Much of his fee and royalties are donated to the Third World missions.

Peter considers myself to have been blessed throughout his life with a wonderful family, great and true friends, three beautiful children and a career that has been varied and enriching.

  • As a chaplain he has been enriched and inspired by students and teachers.
  • As a writer he has had the pleasure of meeting and working with people who are creative and brilliant.
  • In his work in the third-world missions he has been overwhelmed by the love the missionaries have for the poor and the love the poor have for God and the world.
He is grateful for all those who have challenged him to be a better man.
