THE CENTURION

This musical play, written by Peter Tassi and John Cope, has been performed to sold out audiences. It is the gripping and profound story of the Apostle St. Paul.

It follows his life: capturing Christians, his conversion, his separation from his life time friend Anthony, his work and difficulties with the apostles, the stoning of Steven, the important work of Mary, the first church council, Paul's evangelizing work throughout the Greek world to his death in Rome.

Paul's story is one of the greatest conversion stories in history and his teachings, expressed in song and prose, gives inspiration to viewing audiences. Leaving behind old friends, his genuine love for the apostles, the church's they established, and his eventual martyrdom, leaves the audience in tears of sadness.

Paul's charismatic and humorous nature, his confrontation with the crazed Caesar, his handling of the issue of circumcision, leaves the audience in tears of joy.
