With combined experience of 35 years in working with teens, we believe we have discovered keys to unlock the doors to better understand teenagers and offer them an avenue out of their troubles and feelings of hopelessness. We are published authors of books on teens and now we have written this easy to follow, ten step book offering parents and educators a formula to help their teenagers find meaning in their lives.
The premise of this formula is that every teenager has unique and wonderful gifts and each is a reservoir of great potential. This book offers a method for parents and educators to unlock these gifts and great potential. It is a formula that can be used with troubled teens to help them re-direct their lives as well as helping all teens to accentuate their gifts and live a more meaningful life. This book responds to the question parents continually express: what do I do?
When you work with teenagers you are always challenged to bring them to a higher level. You are compelled to see them actualize each and every gift, knowing that this will allow them to live a fulfilled life and that they will be a great contribution to society. It was this challenge and the desperate pleas of parents of troubled teens that had driven us to come up with answers. Once we began to discover effective solutions we were motivated to formulate our technique into this practical, effective ten step formula.
All parents of teenagers ask the questions: How can I maximize the gifts of my child? How can I help lead my teenager out of these difficult years and help them find their way? This book does not offer complicated psychological theories or abstract concepts. Parents want simple to understand and easy to follow steps. ‘Greatness In Our Teenagers’ offers just that. We have used this formula as teacher and chaplains and have experienced its effectiveness.
