Gord McPartlinAt eighteen years old, standing six foot one and a half inches and weighing one hundred and forty four pounds, Gord enlisted in the RHLI, the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, as he considered it was his duty to sign up. He enlisted without any fear of the War and what might await him. Wearing WWI uniforms, the recruits would march from the Armories on James Street down to Burlington Street to do their training. Another venue for training was an old abandoned building on Sherman Avenue... |
